Three killed in separate road mishaps

HOWRAGHAT, September 30: Three people were killed and several injured in two separate road accident on Wednesday in Karbi Anglong. A person identified as Satya rayan Goswami died on the spot and another, identified as Md. Firoz, sustained serious injury at Manja due to collision of a truck and Indigo car.  The injured person was admitted to Diphu Civil Hospital. On the other hand, two persons died on the spot and four persons were injured at NH-36 on Wednesday during a head-on collision between a Tempo and a bike near Sam Tarro village under Dokmoka police station, police sources said. The deceased persons were identified as Hero Swargiary (39) and Lahit Basumatry (36) and two injured persons are Dipali Goyary (50) and Gwide Basumatary.
