Three killed, many feared trapped, rescue operations on: Noida Building Collapse

Three persons have died and other three have been rushed to hospital after two under-construction building collapse in Uttar Pradesh's Greater Noida area on Tuesday. The incident took place, due to too much moisture in the walls of the basement and poor construction material used in Shahberi village.

A six-storey under construction building collapsed on an adjacent building around 9.30 p.m. The rescue operations began on Tuesday and continued till today. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed the police administration to co-operate with National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) in the rescue operation. Union Minister Mahesh Sharma assured that the right now the priority is to save any life that is still left under the debris. The police authorities arrested three people including builders and his two associates in connection with Noida building collapse and property dealers for questioning.
