Three Nigerians arrested in South Tripura

Agartala, Dec 3:  Police arrested three Nigerians from Belonia in South Tripura district in Saturday.

The three arrested have claimed that they are football players but didn’t clarify their intention of coming to Belonia. Police, however, are interrogating them.

Over the last one year, altogether 14 African citizens had been arrested in this sub-division by the Tripura police.

Acting on a tip –off, police raided the house of Pabitra Das but the room was found locked from outside. After entering into the room police found the three Nigerians in the room.
