JORHAT, Feb 5: At least three persons died and another three are undergoing treatment in Jorhat Medical College and Hospital (JMCH) for cold, said a source from the Health Department, Jorhat on Monday. According to Dr Anta Saikia, the Joint Director, Health, three persons were reported to be admitted due to pneumonia-type of fever and after their stay for 24 hours, they were reported to have collapsed. They were from Nilbagan and Jadavpur Tea Estate. Three others are still undergoing treatment and have been kept in semi-ICU and their symptoms are also quite similar to the three deceased persons. The three persons are Montu Mura, Jiten Tanti and Jadav Mali.
