Three selected for World Masters Athletics

Lakhimpur, July 8:Three veteran players- Robin Saikia, Aru th, Malini Saikia from Lakhimpur got selected for XXII Perth 2016 World Masters Athletics Championships to represent India,which is to be held in Perth of Australia. In February of 2016, all the three players qualified the qualifier rounds of tiol Master Athletics Compitition in Mysore (India). All of them stood victorious reciving awards for success. Aru th got 1st prize for walking(5 km) in the group of above 50 years.Robin Saikia got 1st prize for polevolt in the group of above 55 years.Malini Saikia got 1st prize for walking(5 km) in the group of above 55 years and 2nd prize for running (5 km) in the group of above 55 years.
