Ticket prices soar for Argenti vs Brazil WC qualifier

Buenos Aires, Oct 29: The prices of tickets for the upcoming World Cup qualifier between Argenti and Brazil match have registered a steep increase. Tickets can be bought through online system Ticketek with prices ranging between $15 (150 Argentinean pesos) and $180 (1,800 pesos). The prices have rocketed despite the low public turnout at Buenos Aires’ Monumental Stadium three weeks ago during the South American side’s defeat against Ecuador, authorities said. The prices have stayed the same in the popular section and it is still at a cost of $15 like it was in the match against Ecuador. But the rest of the stadium’s sections are more expensive and some have even increased by 50 percent. IANS
