Tickets sale begins on October 2

GUWAHATI, Sept 23: The online tickets for T20 match between India and Australia will be available from October 2 onwards. However the Assam Cricket Association made little changes in the price of the tickets. 
The tickets, reserved for the students, will now cost Rs 500 instead of earlier price which was Rs 700. On the other hand the prices of some tickets including North Stand top floor (Rs 2250, earlier Rs 1750) and North Stand 2nd floor (Rs 3500, earlier Rs 2000) will now be more costly.
Addressing the media gathering the secretary of the Assam Cricket Association Pradip Buragohain today said that around 25,000 tickets will be sold through online and it will begin on October 2 while the spectators can collect their tickets from October 5 showing identity proofs in the counter which will open at the Nehru stadium. The minimum price of the tickets for the forthcoming game is Rs 1250.
The Vice President of the Assam Cricket Association Debojit Saikia, who was also present in the media briefing, said that a person can buy only three tickets at a time. He also added that all former and present Ranji cricketers will get complimentary passes for the game and similar to be given to the current age group players also.
Meanwhile affiliated district units of the Assam Cricket Association will get their tickets on October 1. Buragohain informed that there are altogether 33 affiliated district units of Assam Cricket Association and all of them can purchase maximum 250 tickets each. On the other hand number of tickets for the 7 playing units of the association is 150 each.
Guwahati will host the second T20 match between India and Australia on October 10. The newly built Assam Cricket Association stadium will be formally iugurated on the same day before the match.
