Tiger census gets under way

HOWRAGHAT, Jan 28:  The Tiger Estimation Training Phase-I in three territorial forest divisions in West Karbi Anglong has got underway. The Tiger Estimation Training phase-I was formally held at Central Range Forest Inspection Bungalow, Diphu on Saturday. The tiger census generally takes place simultaneously in all tiger habitats through a scrupulous scientific process to gather data about this endangered species after a certain intermission.
