Tiger terror in Golaghat

Golaghat, July 24: Amidst severe flood and erosion problems, the people of Moipara area in Golaghat are spending sleepless nights due to tigers.

 The area is just three km away from Golaghat district headquarters. Many domestic animals in the area were killed by tigers which has created panic and sensation among the people. The tigers came out from mbor Reserve Forest in search of food and reached Moipara area which is located near River Dhansiri. The local people alleged that the forest department has not taken any fruitful steps to capture the wild beasts.
