Tiger triggers panic in Gohpur

Gohpur, March 20:  After a herd of elephants attacked Bakari Doloni, Barjahabari, Kathaichuk and Hatibondhiya areas in Gohpur subdivision on Saturday night, a tiger from Kaziranga tiol Park came to Hatibondhiya on Sunday night. The villagers of Hatibondhiya are living in fear and panic these days. The footprints of the tiger were seen in the village. The wild animals of Kaziranga tiol Park come to the southern part of Gohpur which is included in the sixth addition of the park. The ture lovers of Gohpur have urged the Assam Government to conduct survey and collect all information about the sixth addition of Kaziranga tiol Park, and to make special plans to protect the wild animals.
