Timber seized in Udalguri

UDALGURI, Oct 1: The SSB patrolling parties of C company border outpost of Amjuli and D company border outpost of Khairabari of the 23rd bn SSB Lalpool, recovered 23 pieces of sawn timber, 29 pieces of Teok logs along with 16 bicycles from Amsiguri and Kumbiholy areas. The areas are near the border pillar No 275/2 and 278/3 of the Indo-Bhutan border. Moreover, the SSB apprehended three persons in this regard. The seized timber logs were handed over to the beat officer of Dhansiri Forest Division, Udalguri.
