Timber seized

SHILLONG, Sept 26: The Troops of 11 Bn BSF deployed at Dulaila, South West Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya seized 196.78 Cft Wooden logs with two Bolero Pickup worth approx Rs. 17 lakh.  The BSF party patrolling near zero line and noticed the suspected vehicle they challenged the drivers to stop, both the vehicle tried to escape. The BSF troops chased the fleeing vehicle and trapped both wooden slipper laden pickup vehicles.  However, both the driver maged to escape from being arrested, taking advantage of thick vegetation and undulating ground. The BSF party seized both the vehicle along with wooden logs.
