UDALGURI, Feb 20: The jawans of 61 Bn SSB launched a special operation and bbed a smuggler med Saton Swargiary of Dhulachuburi village under Udalguri police station area and seized a timber-laden tractor trolley filled with Gamari timber on Saturday. The timber is estimated to be worth around Rs 6 lakh. After interrogation the smuggler revealed that the timber had been smuggled to Assam from Aruchal Pradesh. This was stated by KR Lemror, the Deputy Commandant of 61 Bn SSB.
