‘Time magement key factor for achieving success in life’

Dibrugarh, Dec 13:  The Coorditor of the Directorate of Certificate of Accounting in Technician (CAT), which is a parent organization of the Institute of Cost Accounts of India (ICAI), Sankar Majumdar together with Academic Registrar of Dibrugarh University (DU), Dr. Binod Bora, jointly addressed a lecture session organized at DHSK College premises on Monday.

 Speaking on the occasion, the Kolkata based coorditor of the institute, Sankar Majumdar, stated that every student must have a definite aim in his or her life and even emphasized the fact that time magement was an added key factor for achieving success in life. Majumdar even informed the gathering that river island, Majuli had been chosen as the ‘Model District’ for CAT.

Later, the Academic Registrar of DU, Dr. Binod Bora in his deliberation said that although every men dreamt of achieving success  in life, however, only a few were truly fit for the competitive world. In this regard Dr. Bora pointed out the maxim of survival of the fittest to illustrate his point. The Principal of DHSK College, Dr. Sasikanta Saikia while attending the talk, called upon the students to work hard, for the reason that hard work brings triumph in life.

CAT will be introducing a one-year course in Dibrugarh district and in the proposed course, 500 students will be given training. Moreover, placement facilities will also be offered to the students on completion of the aforesaid course.

Meanwhile, in a separate meeting organized at DHSK Commerce College on Tuesday, further discussions on the aforesaid matter were held in presence of Principals of various colleges of Dibrugarh.
