Tinsukia all set to implement digital literacy programme

TINSUKIA,  August 6: Along with rest of the country, Tinsukia district is all set to implement digital literacy and education programme under tiol Digital Literacy Mission, launched by the Ministry of Communication and IT, Government of India, one each in five constituencies of the district. The areas being identified are Ketetong gaon panchayat under Margherita LAC, Digboi town committee under Digboi LAC, Rongpuria gaon panchayat under Tinsukia LAC, Doomdooma town committee under Doomdooma LAC, Siakhowa and Kakopathar gaon panchayats under Sadiya LAC, stated a DIPR Tinsukia press release. In another release, Additiol District Magistrate Diganta Saikia has promulgated 144 Cr PC prohibiting earth cutting and transportation of soil from vacant government land, agricultural land and riverside.
