He further said that the district secretary Monorajan Borah, who claimed ignorance of all fincial transactions, kept himself at a distance since the bank account came into operation in 2013 under the joint sigtories of district president Md Tariq and fince secretary Biki Sarkar. Tariq further stated that during the period from August 2013 to March 24, 2017 a total Rs 7,54,000 had been transacted. He further added that a section of AASU members were bent on preventing him from being nomited to the central committee in the ensuing district convention at Makum.
