Tinsukia Municipal Board plunges into crisis

TINSUKIA, November 7: The BJP-led Tinsukia Municipal Board (TMB) is in doldrums and has plunged into crisis after its vice-president Ratan Seal lost the no-confidence move initiated by five BJP ward commissioners earlier.  In a Board meeting held on Monday in absence of local MLA and MP, six ward members abstained from voting while rest nine members out of total 15 voted in favour of no-trust motion against Ratan Seal.
