Tinsukia Police goes all out to bust flesh trade racket

DIGBOI, February 25: Tinsukia Police under new SP And Prakash Tiwari is taking all measures to combat the mece of flesh trade in Tinsukia district.

As a part of the administrative drive being carried out across the district and based on inputs provided by one of the recently arrested persons in flesh trade in Tinsukia, the district police raided the Mascot Hotel and apprehended the mager, simultaneously picking up three more suspects involved in the racket, identified as Arpa Chanda (42) of Shibu Kalibari,  Samarjeet Gupta of Charali Market and Bhaskar Baruah, the panchayat secretary  and resident of Ramgar in Digboi. They are being interrogated at the Tinsukia district police headquarter. The operation was led by Maidul Islam, the DSP (probation), Tinsukia.

Sources said that mes of high profile businessmen and political figures could surface when the flesh trade racket is busted.
