Tinsukia Railway Division SFC lift Jintu Gogoi Memorial trophy

Dibrugarh,Dec 19: Tinsukia Railway Division Sports Football Club (TRDSFC) defeated Lengharijan Tea Estate(LTEFC) by a solitary goal to lift  the 12th Captain Jintu Gogoi Memorial Football trophy at Chowkidinghee ground here on Saturday.

bin Sownra of TRDSFC was the lone scorer of the fil. James Topno and Lawrence Topno of LTEFC were adjudged the Best Scorer and Best Goalkeeper of the tourment respectively while bin Saownra was adjudged the Best Player of the fil. They were awarded with cash prize of Rs 1000 each.

 Commander, Laipuli Brigade, Deputy Commissioner, Dibrugarh and Hony Flying Officer TR Gogoi were present and gave away cash prize of Rs 50,000, gold medals and winner’s trophy to the champion team while a cash prize of Rs 30,000, silver medals and a runners up trophy to the beaten team. A cash prize of Rs 20,000 and bronze medals to the 2nd runner up team and a consolation cash prize of Rs 3,000 to each team which secured 4th position to 16th position.  The closing ceremony was attended by large number of senior military and civil officials.
