tiol conference on wildlife trafficking

GAON (HAIBORGAON), May 22: The Department of Zoology, gaon, Dhing College, in collaboration with Aryabhatta Science Centre, Batradrava Development Block, is organizing an UGC sponsored tiol conference on ‘Wildlife trafficking and concern to biodiversity of North-East India’ on June 17.

In a press release it was stated that the sub-themes of the conference would be strategic approach to control the wild life trafficking and biodiversity conservation measures, role of wildlife-related organizations in adapting magement and research, training and capacity building measures for all levels, including dealing with all aspects of wildlife conservation, efficient wildlife magement plan including site specific programmes, processes and governing laws and policies and also conservation, development and sustaible utilization of forest resources. The Principal as well as the coorditor and organizing secretary, Dr SK Datta and Dr Ramesh th respectively, have appealed to the interested participants to send their soft copies of abstract within 300 words on or before May 25 and full papers before June 5.
