GUWAHATI, April 2: Assam Traditiol Sports and Dragon Boat Association will host 8th tiol Dragon Boat Racing Championship in Guwahati. The meet will kick off on Tuesday in the Brahmaputra near Machkhowa. Adressing a media gathering the executive chairman of the organizing committee Taher Ahmed today said that around 450 participants from 21 teams will took part in the 3-day championship which will be held in three categories-250 mtrs, 500 mtrs and 1000mtrs. It may be mentioned here that it is the third occasions when Assam Traditiol Sports Dragon Boat Association is organizning tiol Championship in the state. The media briefing was also attended by Anup Choudhury, the secretary of the organizing committee.
