Silchar,  Aug 13: The celebration of Independence Day or Republic Day generates a spirit of enthusiasm among people in general. With 48 hours left for the 70th Independence Day celebration at the DSA ground here, patriotic fervour has been created by playing out the songs based on tiolism and patriotism. Not to lag behind, street vendors selling sundry items are also seen doing a brisk business with tiol flags. Young and old are found picking up tiol flags of various sizes in order to add to the joy and mirth of the greatest event of the tion. Vendors are happy to see the enthusiasm and the interest people in general are taking in buying the tri-colour.
