tiol Food Security scheme launched

MARGHERITA, Jan 7: The tiol Food Security, Act 2013 was launched on Thursday in Margherita. Margherita constituency MLA Pradyut Bordoloi, Margherita Sub Divisiol Officer (Civil) Sanjeeb Kumar Barhoi, Margherita Food and Civil Supplies officials, Margherita fair price shop agents, Margherita Cooperative Society president and secretary and beneficiaries from eight wards of Margherita Town Committee were present. There are total 77,000 beneficiaries under Margherita Legislative Assembly Constituency.

Ashish Paul, BJP Commissioner of Number 3 Ward, Margherita Town Committee, alleged partiality by  Margherita constituency MLA Pradyut Bordoloi because the tiol Food Security, Act 2013 was launched in Margherita town area which comprises eight wards under Margherita Town Committee and no Ward Commissioners, chairperson or vice-chairperson of the Margherita Town Committee were invited to the function.
