tiol Integration Tour flagged off

TEZPUR, March 15: A tiol integration tour for the children of Assam organized by 24 Assam Rifles of the Red Horns Division was flagged off by AnnupmaBedi, Zol President, Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA), Gajraj Corps from Tezpur on Wednesday, stated a press release. The nine-day tour to Delhi, organized as part of ‘Operation Sadbhava’, comprises of 16 girls and 14 boys along with four teachers drawn from different schools of Biswath Charali district of Assam. The tour aims to expose the students to the vast diversity, traditions and vibrant customs of our country. In short, it emphasizes the idea of tiol integration. The tour to Delhi includes visits to historical and cultural places and the students are also slated for an interaction with the President of India.  The tour will help the students from remote areas of the State in boosting their self-confidence while inspiring them to appreciate and bridge the cultural differences that underline our vast country and thus achieve true unity in diversity. They will return to Lokra on  March 24 where they will be flagged in by the DC of Biswath Chariali.
