tiol integration tour flagged off

TAMULPUR, Jan 11: Red Horns Division of Indian Army flagged off a tiol integration tour to Delhi, Jaipur and Agra from January 10 to January 21 under Operation Sadbhaba. The tour is for 20 students from far-flung areas of Baksa and lbari districts. The students from different schools of Baksa and lbari districts will visit important historical places, monuments and other places of interest of Delhi, Jaipur and Agra during the tour. The aim of the tour is to bring to light the rapid scale of development on which the rest of the country has been traversing and to provide better understanding and mutual respect for different cultures and societies while showcasing their own, thus integrating people of Assam into mainstream India.
