tiol Integration Tour flagged off at Dinjan

DINJAN, Dec 26: The prestigious 12-day tiol Integration Tour (NIT) was officially flagged off on Monday at Dinjan by the Dao Division of Army, with more than 500 students, teachers, civil dignitaries and guests in attendance. The NIT touring students were given a warm send off. The NIT tour will see the meritorious students from various places of Assam, travelling to various places of historical and cultural importance in Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Guwahati. As a part of the tour, students will be meeting the  President of India, Prab Mukherjee on January 2 at Rashtrapahi Bhavan. The flagging off ceremony was presided by Major Gen Anta Bhuyan, SM, GOC Dao Division, who said, “The tour has been planned in a manner to give maximum exposure to the diversity of the tion. This tour will greatly expand their thinking horizon.”

The NIT tour will conclude on January 7 at harkatiya. At the flagging-off ceremony, students of various colleges performed Bihu dance, Xatriya dance and sang group song. “I am very happy that I got a chance to perform in front of so many people. tiol Integration Tour is a great opportunity. I wish many such tours are organized for students in future,” said Paban Gogoi, student of BVFCL School, mrup.  The NIT was flagged off by Barli Bhuyan and Major General Anta Bhuyan, SM. GOC Dao Division in presence of various civil dignitaries, local guests, children and proud parents.
