tiol Press day observed at UDALGURI

UDALGURI , November16: The tiol Press Day was observed at Udalguri on Monday under the aegis of the district administration. The programme was anchored by Ramanuz Hazarika, assistant commissioner and the in-charge of DIPRO and the discourse on the theme - the impact and import of cartooning and caricature as a medium of expression of opinion - was delivered by Dr Luke Daimari, the principal of Udalguri College. He outlined the important role of the press in society. Gautamjyoti Talukdar, Rewati Raman Sapkota ,Dhiren Baishya, Ram Upadhyaya,  Mussadik Hussain, Dhiren Baruah and Dilip Baruah interacted on that theme. Dimple Baruah and Debajit Bora assistant commissioners also attended that meeting.
