tiol Sanitation Programme concludes in gaon

GAON, Nov 1: The tiol Sanitation programme that held under the auspices of Public Health and Engineering Department in gaon was successfully completed on Saturday ingaon.  Minister of Agriculture, Panchayat and Rural Development Rockybul Hussain took part in the programme on the fil day.
Addressing the gathering, Minister Rockybul Hussain said that the Father of the tion dreamt of a clean and sanitized India many years ago. “Today we are following his path. The UPA government initiated the Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan. The present NDA government at the Centre is going ahead with the programme only changing its me.” The minister also clarified that the Assam Government was serious with the subject and that was why Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi introduced the Nirmal Assam Abhijan. He also expected that it would continue in future.
The secretary of the department Ashok Kumar Das, Chief Engineer D K Majumdar, Deputy Commissioner Molisha Goswami and MLA Gautam Bora also attended the fil day programme. Chief Engineer D K Majumdar spoke about how the department had successfully implemented the sanitation programme in Ghuga of lbari, 36 Pub dharmapur, Holouphokan of Sivasagar, Raidongia gaon, and Bangara GP of Kamroop and Sengelijan Tea Eastate of Dibrugarh district.
