TINSUKIA, April 8: Tinsukia College in collaboration with Krish Kanta Handique State Open University (KKHSOU) organized a two-day tiol semir on the topic ‘Distance Learning : Its Importance , Scope , Modes and Social Perspective in Present Day Society’ in the college premises here recently. Dr Nirod Baruah, Professor of the department History of Dibrugarh University, iugurated the two-day semir. Surya Chutia, Assistant Professor and co-orditor of KKHSOU study centre of Tinsukia College delivered the key note address. Dr Bhuban Gogoi, Principal of Tinsukia College read out the welcome address. Around 80 teachers from different colleges of the Northeast participated in the semir. As many as 50 researchers read out research papers which has been also published as a book.
