tiol semir held

DULIAJAN, APRIL 11: A two-day tiol semir was held recently in Tinsukia College organized under the aegis of Krish Kanta State Open University (KKSOU), Tinsukia Centre and in association with KKSOU and Oil India Limited (OIL). The topic of the semir was ‘Distance Learning: Its Importance, scope, modes and social perspective in present day society’. On first day, the tiol semir was iugurated by Dr Nirud Baruah, Professor of History Department, Dibrugarh University and Director of Distance Education Department of university and it was presided over by Dr Bhuban Gogoi, Principal of Tinsukia College. Professor Baruah in his speech said that distance education was making its mark in higher education. In the semir, almost 80 professors and researchers took part.
