tiol semir on child health in India

DIBRUGARH, March 19: To mark the completion of 50 years of the Anthropology Department of the Dibrugarh Hanuman Bux Surajmal Kanoi College, a two-day UGC sponsored tiol semir on ‘Child Health in India with special reference to North-East India’ will be held from May 2 under the aegis of the Anthropology Department of the college. The sub-themes of the semir are Reproductive Health of Populations, Child Morbidity and Mortality,  Child Growth, Development and Nutritiol status, Effects on Thalassaemias and Haemoglobinopathies on Child Health, Effects of Demographic Characteristics on Child Health, Effects of Materl Nutritiol Status on child health and Effects of Socio-economic and Environmental Factors on Child Health. Origil research papers preferably based on primary data on the mentioned sub-themes have been invited from academicians, medical professiols, researchers, NGOs and students.
