tiol Technology Day observed in Jorhat

Jorhat, May 11: Jorhat District Children Science Academy, under the joint auspices of Aryabhatta Science Centre, organized a day-long programme at Hatigarh High School premises in Jorhat district to mark the 18th tiol Techonology Day on Wednesday. An open session was held on the occasion where president of Jorhat District Children Science Academy, Prabin Borah was in the chair. Dr. Poran Baruah, former scientist of North East Institute of Science and Technology (NEIST), participated in the programme as chief guest. In his speech Baruah explained the aims and objectives of tiol Technology Day. He also informed the gathering about the latest developments of science and technology in India. Earlier the open session was started with felicitation of invited guests followed by the welcome address by Hatigarh High School teacher Jiten Sarmah.
