tiol Youth Day observed

Dibrugarh, Jan 15: The 154th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekanda was observed as tiol Youth Day in Dibrugarh recently at Titadimoru under Lahowal Development Block by Nehru Yuva Kendra, Dibrugarh, in association with Nobodoya Juba Sangha, Titadimoru.

 The programme was iugurated by member of  Mohanbari Gram Panchayat, Madhrjya by lighting a lamp before the portrait of  Swami Vivekanda and paying rich tributes. Pronob Jyoti Dutta, former tiol Youth Corps Volunteer of Nehru Yuva Kendra, Dibrugarh, outlined the aim and objective of the day.

 Porinita Konwar, Assistant Teacher of Mohanbari LP School, explained the achievements and philosophy of life of Swami Vivekanda.  Moreover, the two-month Skill Up-gradation Training Programme concluded by distributing certificates to the participants.  Apart from the club members and the participants of the skill up-gradation training programme, Doli Saikia and Mun Yadav, tiol Youth Volunteers, were present at the observance. The week-long observance will take place in the district covering all blocks till January 19.
