Tiwa body observes 3rd annual establishment day

MORIGAON, August 18: The members of the central committee of Tiwa Jatiya Eaikya Moncha on Thursday observed the third annual establishment day at Morigaon Bihutoli. In presence of ba Kumar Doley, Panchayat and Rural Development Minister, Prafulla Kumar Mahanta, MLA and former Chief Minister, and Ramakanta Deuri , MLA of  Morigaon, an open meeting was organized under the president ship of Khagen Ch. Bordoloi, former chairman,TAC and president, Tiwa Jatiya Eaikya Moncha, central committee. At the beginning of the meeting, the invitees were felicitated with gamusa by the members of the committee. Thereafter, the meeting started with a speech by Mak Ch. Bordoloi, secretary, central committee, Tiwa Jatiya Eaikya Moncha. Addressing the gathering, Ramakanta Deuri, MLA of Morigaon, said that he regretted the non-fulfillment of his assurances which he had made before the assembly election this year. He added that he would work hard for the development of the constituency.
