t'l Lok Adalat disposes 140 cases

ITAGAR, Dec 11: The tiol Lok Adalat held at the Aalo district court in West Siang district of Aruchal Pradesh under the supervision of CJM-cum-Civil Judge (Senior Division) Hirendra Kashyap disposed off a total of 140 crimil compoundable, money suits and litigation cases amounting to Rs 49, 48,478/.

In all 360 cases were heard during the Lok Adalat which was assisted by district legal service members, advocates Todak Ado and Gorik Kamduk.

The remaining cases could not be disposed due to absence of victims, complaints, respondents and unwillingness on the part of the party to settle the cases in the Lok Adalat. The pending cases have been referred to the next Lok Adalat or a regular Court for necessary step as per law.
