TMPK activists protest eviction drive

DEMOW, Nov 28: Takam Mising Porin Kebang (TMPK) activists protested in Demow Chariali in the NH-37 road on Monday by burning tyres in protest against the eviction drive in Amchang Wildlife Sanctuary in Guwahati and during their protest they shouted various slogans against State Government.

The Takam Mising Porin Kebang (TMPK), Sivasagar District Committee, had organized a press meet in Demow Press Club on Monday and during the press meet the TMPK activists demanded resigtion of minister ba Kumar Doley, Ranuj Pegu and Bhuban Pegu, MLAs who belong to the Mising community. In the press meet the Takam Mising Porin Kebang (TMPK) leaders also announced that they would take out torchlight rally from various villages and town areas of Sivasagar district on Tuesday evening.
