TMPK celebrates Kangking Kebang

SIVASAGAR, October 1: The freshers’ celebration organized by Takam Mishing Porin Kebang in collaboration with Takam Mishing Mime Kebang, Sivasagar Town Committee at tya Mandir recently reflected what the newcomers aspire during a social congregation.

The event was a mix fun and guidance. A full-packed crowd of Mishing community, consisting of students, businessmen, housewives, employees of private and government services came up with sparkling and traditiol dresses.

Pranjal Borbora, AGM, Marketing, Kaziranga University, attending the function as resource person, delivered a motivatiol speech which captured the attention of the entire crowd for more than half an hour.

In the midst of the programme, a book titled Mur Hridoyor Ramdhenu, a collection of poems by Dembiram Panging was also released in presence of Additiol Deputy Commissioner DN Morang, Election Officer Aswini Doley Chakrapani Patiri, associate professor, Sori College, Dr ba Gam, Principal of Rongasahi College, poet Ganga Mohan Mili and others. Dr Asfia Sulta, Principal of Amguri College, elaborated the poetry book in a very attractive manner.

As a part of the celebration, altogether 70 meritorious students were also felicitated by TMPK, Sivasagar district committee.

The programme was jointly anchored by Dombidhar Taye, Ramen Kumar Patiri, Biren Sing Mili and Karishma Panging.
