Tokay gecko lizard rescued

TANGLA, May 2: A tokay gecko lizard was rescued at 4 No. Rajagarh village under Harisinga revenue circle near the Bordi Wildlife Sanctuary, famous for wild boar, in Udalguri district. Reportedly the lizard was rescued behind the house of Pankaj Deka. On hearing the trickling sound of the lizard, ture-loving villagers searched for the lizard and rescued it. The lizard was later handed over by the villagers to Tridip Thakuria, forest official of Bordi Wildlife Sanctuary.
