- Tomatoes – 4, medium sized, chopped roughly, blanched
- Cucumber – ¾ cup, peeled, chopped
- Green bell pepper – ¼ cup, finely chopped
- Tabasco sauce – 1 tsp
- Salt – to taste
- Sugar – ½ tsp
- Water – ½ cup
For Added Crunch:
- Red bell pepper – 2 tbsp, finely chopped
- Onions – 2 tbsp, finely chopped
- Cucumber – 2 tbsp, finely chopped
- Whole wheat noodles – 2 tbsp, dry roasted until golden brown
- Blend ingredients 1 to 3 with water to a smooth puree.
- Transfer to a strainer and strain the mixture into a large bowl.
- Mix in the spices and sauce well.
- Refrigerate for 120 minutes.
- While serving, sprinkle the veggies and noodles.
