Tonmoy takes hat-trick, Pratidin Times win

GUWAHATI, Jan 2: Pratidin Times defeated The Telegraph by a huge margin of 142 runs in the TG Baruah Media Cricket Tourment which got under way at the Judges field here today. The highlight of the match was a hat-trick from Tonmoy Dey of Pratidin Times who picked up five wickets giving away just two runs.

Chasing 200 runs to win The Telegraph were bowled out for paltry 57 runs in 20.3 overs. Earlier Pratidin Times scored 199-9 in their 20 overs. Pankaj Bora and Bedanta Bhargav scored 36 and 31 runs respectively. In the iugural game of the tourment, Photo Jourlists got walk over against G Plus.
