Top seed advances

GUWAHATI, April 16: Top seed Anuran Choudhury entered into the next round of the U-14 category in the 9th Kaliyani open Tennis championship held at the Kaliyani club, Numaligarh today. Anuran defeated Shreyan Langthasa by 6-1. Altogether 150 players from Assam, galand and Mizoram are participating in the various junior ranking boys and girls events of the meet which is organized by the NRL Kaliyani club. The results of other matches held on Saturday (U-14): Siddhant P Dutta beat Aayush Gupta (6-0), Denish Das beat Sauk Gogoi (6-3), Tusher Paul beat Pratik Bora (6-0), Anubhab Kashyap beat Abhigyan Boruah (6-2), Abhishek Boruah beat Saumar Saikia (6-1), Shahir Farhaz beat Jok Borah (6-3).
