Top seed Balaji bows out from ITF Men’s Futures

GUWAHATI, March 1:  In the biggest upset of the day un seeded Shane Vinsant of USA defeated top seed N Sriram Balaji of India in a second round singles match of the ongoing ITF Men’s Futures Tennis Tourment at Chachal Tennis complex today. Shane, in a grueling three setter, beat Balaji by  4-6, 7-6(4), 7-6(4). Meanwhile in the doubles quarter fils Assam’s Parikshit Somani partnering with Paramveer Sing Bajwa of India lost to Sami Reinwein (GER) and Alexnder Centeri (USA) 4-6, 6-4, 10-4.

The singles quarter fil matches will start on Thursday.
