Torang R Marak appointed NSC president

SHILLONG, Sept 7: The Meghalaya state unit of the tiolist Congress Party (NCP) has appointed Torang R Marak as the president of its student wing the tiolist Student Congress. In a statement issued here today Meghalaya State NCP General Secretary SP Thapa informed that SR Kohli, permanent secretary NCP under the direction of Praful Patel, general secretary and in-charge North-East, NCP in consultation with Sanbor Shullai, president, Meghalaya State NCP appointed Marak as the president of tiolist Student Congress of Meghalaya State NCP with immediate effect . Meanwhile Sanbor Shullai and the party have also welcomed Dr. Wansainbor A. Lyngwi who has joined the NCP with his supporters and hoped that his joining the party shall be a boost to the party in the State. He further stated that NCP has been strengthened and hope other good leaders will follow him very soon.  Meanwhile, Dr Lyngwi has been appointed as the block president of 28-Sohra constituency with immediate effect.
