Torchlight procession by KMSS against Centre's notification

FROM A CORRESPONDENT
GAON, October 7: The KMSS on Wednesday took out a torch light procession in gaon town against the notification issued by the Central Government to provide shelter to the minorities coming from neighbouring Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan for religious persecution.  Thousands of protesters took part in the evening procession and slammed the BJP government in the Centre, accusing the BJP of taking a U-turn from its poll promises. Criticizing the Modi government, the president of the gaon district union, Khagan Gayan said that the latest decision of the Central Government to give shelter to Hindu Bangladeshis was nothing but a political conspiracy of the BJP. “For cheap political game, the BJP is intending to impose a burden of more than 20 lakh Bangladeshis on the State. KMSS will not allow them to do such a thing,” he added.
