Batadrava, Aug 30: Residents of more than 10 villages of Kachamari, gaon brought out a torchlight rally at Kachamari on Tuesday evening in protest against the attack on former ULFA cadre Moon Bora and his associates. The protesters thronged at Bejgaon, Kachamari and took out a rally shouting various slogans against anti-Assamese elements. “We want to make it clear that we will not tolerate any attack on indigenous people by any anti-Assamese lobby. We demand stern punishment for all arrested culprits of the August 22 gaon incident,” a protester said.
