ToT programme on planning, budgeting and accountability concludes

KOKRAJHAR, March 10: The four-day long Training of Trainer (ToT) programme on development, planning, budgeting and accountability that began on March 7 at BTC Secretariat conference hall, concluded on Saturday. The training for the trainers was organized jointly by the tiol Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRD&PR), North Eastern Regiol Council and Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC).
The training was given to the higher officials of four district autonomous councils formed under the 6th schedule of the Indian Constitution, which included BTC, Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, NC Hills Autonomous Council and Hmar Autonomous Council of Mizoram. The training was given by Dr. MK Shrivastava, Assistant Professor of NIRD&PR, Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, North Eastern Regiol Council. 
On the last day of the training, the deputy chief of BTC, Kampa Borgoyary attended the programme and interacted with the officials of district autonomous councils. He also shared the experience of planning, development, revenue and other aspects of the autonomous councils.
