Tractors distributed under Chief Minister Samagra Gramya Unnayan Yojana

MORIGAON, July 15: The Minister for Hills Area Development, Sum Ronghang on Saturday distributed six tractors to beneficiaries of revenue villages under the Chief Minister Samagra Gramya Unnayan Yojana (CMSGUY) at a meeting held at the Morigaon Bihutoli ground. The HAD minister said that the Chief Minister had taken up the scheme for the benefit of farmers as well as for the uplift of villages of the State. He added that total 629 tractors would be distributed to 629 revenue villages under 70 per cent subsidy before August 15.

Earlier, the meeting was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Hemen Das. Thereafter, a felicitation programme was held where district agriculture officers were felicitated.
