Trade licenses cancelled

Dibrugarh, Dec 8: Deputy Drugs Controller and Licensing Authority (DDCLA) has issued an official order on December 4 cancelling the trade licenses of five retail pharmacies of Dibrugarh district. The order came after an application was filed in this regard by Senior Inspector of Drugs, Dibrugarh District, K. Baishya, accusing the pharmacies of violating the rules laid down under Drugs and Cosmetics Act and Rules, 1945, as well as running the entities without a pharmacist. The five pharmacies are M/s Sen Medical Store, Bhadoi Panchali; M/s Maa Santoshi Medical Store, situated near Assam Medical College and Hospitals; M/s Siddhi Medicals, Mancotta Road; M/s Jyoti Drugs, Duliajan and M/s New Life Medicos, liapool. The cancellation order would be valid until any further notification from the office of DDCLA.
