Traffic police drive against taxies

SHILLONG, July 31: In a drive against local taxies without proper documents and papers, Shillong Traffic Police on July 30 detected 39 such cases and realized Rs15, 000 as fines. The East Khasi Hills SP, Mariahom Kharkrang has instructed not to ply their local taxies without complete documents as it is against the provisions of Motor Vehicle Act.
