Traffic troubles unlimited, as unruly auto rickshaws rule streets in Dibrugarh

Dibrugarh, Dec 23: The unruly traffic congestions with three wheeler auto rickshaws’ generating huge rush over the main roads, here, have made the movement of day to day, private cars and vehicles difficult with no respite from blocked and jostle line of traffic over the streets.

The auto drivers make the chances of on road accidents imminent as they shrewdly try to ahead before other vehicles by completely avoiding traffic rules and regulations. The hurry to pick passengers at every stoppage and taking more passengers than their seat capacity, jostles the roads unnecessarily. Moreover, the unseemly undisciplined behavior with utterances of cheap languages from the auto drivers at public places makes the environment mean with no interference from the authorities concerned to cope with the same.

Such mismagement in parking of auto and three wheelers with a blithe stand in key traffic points of the town, and no caring to give passages to other vehicles, needs to be supervised acutely by the administration. The town that lacks a permanent parking area at some of the busiest areas with market areas making up for the major traffic srls, need an immediate permanent traffic regulating mechanism.

The recent manmade accident is caused mainly due to the haphazard, speedy and swift driving of three wheelers with ippropriate U turn driving at interchanges. The risk of spiraling obstruction of such three wheeler vehicles over both sides of the main roads has to be checked immediately or else their increasing number may turn the town into a dreadful nucleus of jam-packed roads with no means of access.

Awareness of public, administration and concerned traffic authorities requires to be necessitated, if the town’s overcrowded vehicular set-up is to be changed by bringing up equanimity in driving.
